THRACE. Chersonesos. Circa 386-338 BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 13 mm, 2.28 g). Forepart of a lion right, head turned back to left. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square with two raised and two sunken squares; in one sunken quarter, axe head (?) and pellet, in another, pellet above monogram of AΓ. HGC 3.2, 1437. McClean -. SNG Copenhagen -. Nicely toned and with an interesting symbol. Slightly rough, otherwise, good very fine.
